Do You Squirm at the Term "Our Father"
?
We are worthy of existence, and despite persistent rumors, we are
not sinners who must exorcise tumorous insufficiencies. We are together
on a tiny but mighty planet to remind each other of this enlightened
present time. We engage in the work of the Supernal in this world,
as heaven and earth interpenetrate. It may take an instant or decades
to extricate ourselves from unreality, but we can always free ourselves
from numbing mistakes. This moment is a beginning, and ignorance is
not an excuse for inaction, but a state of mind. Negative reactions
are predicated on attitudes, and enlarging our circle of friends can
expand our vision. Perhaps we could accept our parents in the web
of infinite divinity, and develop the outlook of a loving child? We
are not subservient to an aloof father, nor serf of an unearthly lord.
We are in heavenly partnership, and the Lord's Prayer includes Mother/Father/Son/Daughter
within its permeable umbrella. Do you squirm at the term Our Father?
Perhaps it is apt to return to the lap of our Mother, decrease other-worldly
longings, and wait for the just and caring Father to be birthed within
yourself? He is always present, and She is never absent.
